Night of Murder - 2/9 thru 2/16/2010

We will be bringing all North American Servers offline tomorrow, 2/9/2010 starting at 10:00 AM EST for maintenance. During this maintenance we will be enabling the Night of Murder Live Event. At this time we anticipate that all servers will be back online no later than 2:00 PM EST. As always, please check the Herald for up to the minute information on this downtime.

Character Transfer Issues - 2/7/2010

Update 2:00 PM EST 2/8/2010 - This issue has been corrected. Character Transfers are now functioning properly.

Character transfers using the Mythic Account Center for WAR are currently disabled due to technical difficulties. We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and are working to have the service restored as soon as possible. At this time we do not have an estimated time of restoration of service.

Mass Stability Playtest - 2/3/2010

Greetings!

Warpstone is now open to the Public!

R40, RR80 templates are enabled for all careers, so be sure to patch up and jump on early in preparation for tomorrow night's Mass Stability Playtest (with a special twist!). The fun starts tomorrow night at 8:00 PM EST and will continue until we've got enough data to be useful. Following the playtest I'll be hosting our normal format Q&A session with a very special guest: Combat and Careers Team Lead, Nate Levy.

We'll also be debuting the official Mythic Entertainment Ventrilo server tomorrow night, so be sure to log in early for a slot as space is limited and it is first come, first serve! Ventrilo information will be broadcast on the server tomorrow night starting at 7:45 PM EST.

And what playtest would be complete without the chance to win an Enslaved Manticore or Imperial Griffon mount? Everyone who participates will be entered in a drawing to win one of these fabulous prizes.

So gird your loins and come help us try to crash the server tomorrow night on Warpstone!

1.3.4 Comes to the PTS Tomorrow (2/2/2010)!

Greetings!

The call for all warriors of Order and Destruction has been sent across the lands. The chaotic winds of change are blowing across the windswept island of Nordenwatch and through the burning alleys of Praag carrying an ominous message with it: Weapons of WAR are upon us!

Game Update 1.3.4 will be coming to the Public Test Server tomorrow afternoon, bringing with it a slew of new changes to WAR!

We will be kicking things off this Wednesday, 2/3/2010 with our first PTS Developer Lead event. The fun starts at 8:00 PM EST with a mass stability test and will be followed by our usual Q&A session with a very special guest: Combat and Careers team lead, Nate Levy! And as always, everyone who participates will be entered in a drawing for to win an Enslaved Manticore or Imperial Griffon mount.

This is also the debut of the official Mythic Entertainment Ventrilo server, so be sure to be on the PTS a little early for the server information. Remember, first come, first serve and space is limited!

Career Changes & Bug Fixes

Buffs, stances and other effects will no longer be removed upon zoning or leaving the RvR lakes.

Items

Items purchased using alternate currency of any type may no longer be sold back to a merchant for gold. This includes items purchased with RvR Tokens, Land of the Dead Currency, Ordnance or Bestial Tokens.
