WAR Community Takes On the PTS!

Here at Mythic we've always placed a high value on our extended community of Bloggers, so you can imagine how excited we are that Frank Sanchez of Overly Positive and Werit of weritsblog.com decided to come out and participate in all of the Public Test Server goodness at last night's FINAL Final Mass Playtest.

Be sure to check out what both of these guys have to say about the peformance improvements we're introducing in 1.3.2 including a pretty epic video from Werit!

It's the Community interaction we've experienced during the 1.3.2 PTS cycle that continues to inspire us and fuel our passion to make WAR everything it can be. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Public Test Server for the last few weeks to hang out with the development team and help set 1.3.2 up for success!

FINAL Final PTS Mass Playtest 10/13/2009!

No really! We mean it this time!

Due to some great data we collected at Sunday night's mass playtest we have implemented some stability fixes that we're going to put to the test tomorrow night, 10/13/2009, starting at 8:00 PM EDT! So thanks to everyone who came out for Sunday's playtest we're going to be releasing a more stable 1.3.2!

But wait! There's more!

We have recently added server improvements to support a faster response time on combat abilities and other aspects of the game. We want for you, the players, to come out and experience these improvements first hand.

We will be providing templates for players to use and everyone who shows up and participates will be have the chance to win either the Imperial Griffon Mount (Order) or the Enslaved Manticore Mount (Destruction).

Thank you for continuing to help make Patch 1.3.2 a great experience for everyone!

Final 1.3.2 Mass Playtest - 10/11/2009!

That's right, we're doing it ONE MORE TIME!

This Sunday, 10/11/2009, starting at 8:00 PM EDT the WAR dev team will be hosting the final 1.3.2 Mass Playtest! We've had some amazing turnout at these events and can't wait to see if the players can top out our previous tests.

So the gauntlet has been thrown, will you answer the challenge and line up on Warpstone with your fellow testers for a shot at the Imperial Griffon (Order) or the Enslaved Manticore (Destruction) mounts? Not 40 yet? Not to fret as templates will be provided as they have been for all of our testing events for 1.3.2.

We'll see you on the PTS!

PTS Mass Playtest Tonight!

Couldn't make it out to last week's playtest? Want to increase your chances of winning an Imperial Griffon or Enslaved Manticore Mount? Well join us TONIGHT at 8:00 PM EDT on the Warpstone Public Test Server for the second round of our Keep Reward Improvents testing.

Last time was great fun with over 300 testers coming out and experiencing all of the changes coming into 1.3.2, so don't miss out on this exciting developer lead event!

1.3.2 Public Test Starts 9/29/2009

Greetings!

Game Update 1.3.2 is coming to the Public Test Server tomorrow morning, bringing with it a full schedule of Developer-led Public Test Events.

Come and experience the new and improved Keep reward system with a developer-led PTS event this Wednesday, September 30th, starting at 8:00 PM EDT. Not only can you be among the first to see these exciting new changes, everyone who logs in and participates in the event will have the chance to win an Imperial Griffon mount (Order) or an Enslaved Manticore mount (Destruction).

This Saturday brings a PTS first: Come and get a sneak peek at the next Live Event: Daemon Moon Rising. Not only will you get an early look at part of this exciting new event, everyone who participates in this PTS event will receive a never-before-seen Holiday mask for their characters on Live Servers. The event will start at 8:00 PM EDT, this Saturday, October 3rd.

But wait! There's EVEN MORE!
